Class of 2019 SCHOLARSHIPS

Chapter D.T.,  P.E.O. Sisterhood Scholarship

P.E.O. is an international women's organization that promotes educational opportunities for women through a variety of scholarship and grant programs. All senior girls planning to attend an Oregon community college, four-year university or any other institution of higher learning is eligible to apply. Recipient will need to provide proof of acceptance on or before June 30th, enroll in 12 or more credits, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA while attending a post-secondary institution. In addition, scholarship recipients are expected to attend Chapter D.T.'s Scholarship Dessert event the last Thursday of June. Click on title above to download the application in pdf format. North Marion High School 1950's Reunion Scholarship

The 1950's reunion committee has decided to no longer hold reunions and would like to share the remaining funds with three high school seniors. 1950's descendants are encouraged to apply, but scholarship is open to all graduating seniors.  Click on title above to download the application in pdf format and turn into College & Career Center when completed. Buz Tautfest Memorial Scholarship

Academic prowess, school and community involvement, future goals, financial need and completeness, thoughtfulness, neatness, and correctness of answers.

Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship

United North Marion Educators Scholarship

This scholarship (2 - $1000 awards) is a gift from UNME, the teachers’ association of North Marion. North Marion Booster Club Scholarship

This scholarship will be given to a graduating Senior who has played in two or more sports teams their Senior year.  The recipient also must plan to attend college beginning immediately during the Fall Term after they graduate.  This scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female in the amount of $400 each.   Click on title above to download the application in pdf format.  If you are unable to access the application, please go to the College & Career Center.  Deadline:  April 5, 2019.


Hal Beyers Memorial Scholarship

Hubbard Fire District Scholarship

Les Schwab Scholarship

Wayne Yoder Memorial Scholarship Application

To remember Wayne for all of his hard work and dedication as a volunteer firefighter in our community, the District 63 Firefighters have put together a memorial scholarship in his name. Moore Family Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Moore family and the seven graduates of North Marion between the years of 1982 & 2013.  Eligibility:  At least two full years as a student in good standing at North Marion, received a varsity letter in a sports activity, have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 after trimester 2 of their senior year.   Click on title above to download the application in pdf format.  If you are unable to access the application, please go to the College & Career Center.  Deadline:  April 15, 2019.

​Woodburn Kiwanis Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior enrolled at a participating high school. Endurance Scholarship

Players Club Scholarship

Burson-Landon Scholarship


This scholarship is only for Marion County High School graduates.  Applicants must attend attend an Oregon college, university or trade school full-time and must demonstrate financial need.  Applicants must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and be able to demonstrate leadership traits. Silverton Health Auxiliary Scholarship

This scholarship is for students preparing for a medical career at an accredited institution of higher education or have been accepted for fall admission by a college or university.

Applicants must submit a transcript, two written recommendations - one from the applicant's high school and one from an individual who knows the applicant through his/her extra-curricular activities, a completed application, a one-page essay explaining your reasons for choosing your particular medical field of study, and answer the provided questions.  The questions must be answered on a separate piece of paper.  Applications need to be mailed directly to the Scholarship Committee Chairman by the deadline.  Click on title above to download the application

Howard B. Giesy Memorial Scholarship

The Howard B. Giesy Memorial Scholarship is given in honor of a 1937 graduate of Canby High School. Mr. Giesy died in October of 1998. He left his entire estate in the form of scholarship monies. During his lifetime he was a resident of the North Marion and St. Paul communities. Scholarships are presented to graduating seniors from Canby, North Marion, and St. Paul High Schools.

Its major intent is to assist students based on financial need, at risk characteristics and potential to be successful. The scholarship’s intent is to assist those who will most likely not receive other financial awards. Unlike most scholarships, this scholarship will not be based mostly on a student’s GPA.

  • Must be a graduating senior from North Marion High School.
  • Attend a trade school, community college, four-year college, or university
  • While attending, must maintain a 2.0 GPA or equivalent.

Criteria includes completing application, submitting unofficial transcript, essay, and recommendations.  Answers to questions must be typed.

Oregon State Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.E.O) Scholarship

Class of 2018 SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Closed: Kaiser Permanente Health Career Scholarship

This scholarship is geared to students interested in pursuing a degree in health care.  Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and plan to enroll as a full-time student in the Fall 2019.  Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency is not required.  Deadline:  Account created by December 8, 2018; Application submitted by December 15, 2018.  Apply online at:  Kaiser Permanente Health Care Scholarshp 

Class of '66 Scholarship

Canby Kiwanis Scholarship

The Canby Kiwanis Club is a part of Kiwanis International, an organization that focuses on changing the world through community service, the selfless giving of one’s time and resources to help others. Chapter J PEO Scholarship

Sports Marketing Scholarship

Woodburn Rotary Scholarship

City of Aurora - Dorothy Scholl Ross Scholarship

Aurora Colony Historical Society Willie Keil Scholarship

The Willie Keil Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a North Marion High School graduating senior who intends to continue studies at an accredited school, either vocational or educational. Deadline:  April 30, 2018.  If you are unable to access the application, please go to the College & Career Center.

GRADitute Scholarship

SMILE Scholarship

The SMILE Scholarship will be awarded to the graduating senior at North Marion High
School who has demonstrated perseverance, tenacity, and persistence; illustrating a
steadfastness, achieving success, despite any obstacle or difficulties they may have faced
